Hello all! My name is Amanda Schank. I am excited to be a new member to Tiffin City Schools, serving as a high school intervention specialist. You will find me in a multitude of settings this year!
I am currently teaching Freshmen Success Academy. This course is centered on the transition needs of freshmen high school students. Students will gain knowledge and awareness of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills that optimize student achievement.
I graduated in 2010 from BGSU with a B.S. in Education and a major in Mild-Moderate Intervention Specialist. While in college, I was active in BGSU women's club volleyball, Alpha Phi Sorority, served as a teacher at a local daycare, and worked at Bass Pro Shops! Also, in the past five years, I have hosted and participated in various fundraisers to help support finding a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
My schedule 2nd semester is:
1st- Integrated Science (Mr. Roush)
2nd- FSA
3rd- Self-contained
4th- Planning
5th- A+
6th- Intro. Geometry (Mr. Ferstler)
