Policies and Procedures
Academics:
Your academic performance during the school year is your first responsibility.  You are expected to complete all assignments and participate in all classroom activities.  Take pride in doing your very best in the classroom.  I will be in constant communication with your teachers throughout the course of the nine weeks.
*** Should I hear that you are neglecting your schoolwork I will not hesitate to place you in two hour study table after school.  Moreover, you will not be allowed to participate in any games until you are “caught up”.

Behavior
You are expected to behave as a perfect gentleman in the classroom and in the community at large.  This especially applies to Friday night varsity football games.
Consequences for Poor Choices
Classroom Disruptions:  “Reminder” period after practice for as long as I see fit.
Class Removal or In/Out of School Suspension:  Suspended from playing the next game.
    Theft:  Possible removal from team
Communication:
This is key for both parents and players.  Please do not hesitate to speak with me or any other members of the coaching staff. You may also call or e-mail Coach Gillig at any time.
Practice Schedule:
For the first few weeks of the season practice will be from 3:00 to 5:15 pm every day.  I do my very best to ensure that practice ends at 5:15pm.  I ask that you pick your child up promptly at the end of practice.  My hope is that players will be out of the locker room and ready to go home by 5:25.

Once we enter our game schedule, practice times will be as follows...

Monday:  3:00 - 4:30pm (Helmets, Shoulder Pads and Shorts)
Tuesday:  Game Day
Wednesday:  3:00 - 5:15pm (Varies)
Thursday:  3:00 - 5:15pm (Full Pads)
Friday:  3:00 - 4:10 (Full Pads)

*** You need to make sure that you hustle down to practice after school.  Practice starts precisely at 3:00 regardless of if you are ready or not.

Care of Equipment:
Please wash your jersey and pants on a regular basis.  You must bring the required equipment to practice each day.  Failure to do so will result in an unpleasant “reminder” after practice.
Keep the locker room neat and clean.  Do not leave your equipment, school work or trash on the floor.  Failure to do so will result in an unpleasant “reminder” for the team after practice.
